Learning in the Bird Grasshopper Schistocerca americana.

When grasshoppers are presented with a choice of a nutritionally balanced dish (b) and a nutritionally deficient dish (d), they are able to learn to associate colored cards (brown or green) and flavors (coumarin or citral) with the diets if the cards and flavors are consistenly paired with one dish (learning condition), but not if the cards and flavors are randomly paired with the dishes (random condition).
